The RE-SOURCING Project's work on the renewable energy sector is going into the next phase.

After the State-of-Play Report, the Roadmap Workshop and the Flagship Lab, we now start to prepare the Roadmap leading from the current state of the renewable energy sector to responsible sourcing in 2050.

The roadmap covers the supply chains of coppersilicon metal, and rare earths for wind and solar PV energy, focusing on the stages of mining, manufacturing and recycling. For each stage we will develop recommendations for policy makers (EU focus), and industry and civil society (both global focus).

We would like to hear your opinion on what these areas should look like!

You can download the draft roadmap here.

Please submit your comments until 09 July 2021 to Marie-Theres Kügerl, marie-theres.kuegerl@unileoben.ac.at
